Emma Dwyer

Emma Dwyer is a graphic designer whose work moves between research, archiving, image-making, and publishing. In addition to teaching, she is archives assistant at the Architecture and Design Open Archive, a special collection, research room, and center for publishing based jointly in the Schools of Architecture and Design at UIC. Emma is one half of the collaborative publishing project TOMATO TOMATO TOMATO / Short Leash Editions, which explores via Risograph-printed editions and ephemera themes including the ways in which power and meaning are produced, fantasy as a means of expression, and the desire to be ungovernable. She is a member of the Chicago Printers Guild and has exhibited work at the Los Angeles Art Book Fair, the Pittsburgh Art Book Fair, Madison Print + Resist, and Zine Mercado.
