Austin Watson’s research explores the use of technology through experimentation with tools, generative forms, and publishing platforms. He is interested in studying the tension between analog and digital methods by investigating the relationship between humans and machines.
With a dedication to building communities through publishing and sharing, he works with materials across multiple mediums to cultivate deeper learning experiences across the design profession. Often partnering with cultural institutions on freelance projects, Austin has experience in motion graphics, publication design, and interactive experiences. His work was recently exhibited at the Young Harris College Campus Gate Art Gallery, in Georgia.
