Bridgette Buckley is a Chicago-based furniture designer, maker, and educator whose work is rooted in Scandinavian aesthetics and a deep respect for craft and material. Her designs aim to bring joy, foster connection, and heighten body awareness through thoughtful proportion and tactile experience.
She is owner and creative director at HONNING (honning.us), formerly Maxine Snider, Inc., where she continues the company’s legacy of refined craftsmanship while expanding its modern furniture collection. Previously, Bridgette was Senior Designer at Holly Hunt, developing pieces for both the indoor and outdoor collections. Her work has received the Best of Year Award from Interior Design magazine and she holds a US patent for one of her chair designs.
