Stephen Flemister is an interdisciplinary artist and designer working in new media and studio practices. With years of interactive production in advertising and a practice involving sculpture and print media, Stephen explores the fabrication of objects and systems influenced by digital culture.
A graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a 2016–17 artist in residence with the University of Chicago’s Arts + Public Life, Stephen continues a studio practice while working on various design productions. He has exhibited his works at Hyde Park Art Center, the Carnegie Center for Arts and History, the South Side Community Art Center, and the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, as well as in public installations and design projects throughout Chicago.
